More than 100 kilometres of slopes, but also pine forests and national parks, breathtaking views and streams of crystal-clear water. The nature of Ponte di Legno offers a year-round escape from the hectic pace of the city. At a height of 1,258 metres, in sight of the peaks of Adamello and Presanella, noise and stress give way to a tourist destination that has no need to be envious of the more sophisticated mountain towns on the other side of the Alps.
Lovers of winter sports will find in Ponte di Legno slopes of different levels, serviced by snow-making equipment and 30 ski lifts. A dense network of connections will take you up to a small corner of paradise: from Ponte di Legno to Tonale and then on up until you reach 3,000 metres and the Presena glacier which, from next year, can be reached by a new gondola lift in just 16 minutes, for constant skiing, even in spring.
But that’s not all. The Valbione golf course, the long paths through the forests, the ancient rural villages and the traditional stores in the old part of town provide the perfect setting for every holiday.
